Mervolus is, at present, a merchant who sells magical items regularly in Delvanos. Although he desires becoming a professor at the Levison Magical Academy, the academy's professor slots were all full meaning entry was competitive. He occasionally takes the time to wander to see what the world is up to. It was Mervolus who helped draft the Fourth Doomsday Theory, a publication that theorizes the next global disaster. His research is what ties to his dislike of the Meteor Mages, as they're theorized to be bringers of the fourth Doomsday. Regardless of this Mervolus met with Jei not long after a disaster hit one of Delvanos docks. Seeing as she took interest in magic, he decided to teach her a spell for a few. Mervolus hopes to train Jei enough so that she would perhaps be accepted into the magic academy, even if he could not become a professor there.
